Position Overview:
We are a growing medical practice, with offices located in Mesa, Deer Valley, Glendale and Tucson currently seeking a Physical Therapy Technician/Chiropractic Assistant to be a part of our team! The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service to our patients. If you are an energetic caring, compassionate person with medical office experience, we want to hear from you and we will train you!

Responsibilities:

• Assists Physical Therapy with patient care
• Prepares exam and treatment areas
• Takes appropriate medical history
• Records medical and treatment data into the EMR, eClinicalWorks experience is a plus!
• Educates patients on procedures, wellness and self-care
• Perform administrative duties under the direction of the Office Manager

Qualifications:

• PTA Degree
• 1 year outpatient experience minimum
• Good communication and documentation skills
• EHR knowledge preferred
• Ability to establish effective working relationships and to communicate effectively.
• Ocassional travel between offices is required
• Bilingual Preferred!

Experience:

• Medical Terminology: 1 year (a plus)
• EMR: 1 year (Required)
